More than a holiday let. A personal story.

Hello, I’m Nami.

I had never run a holiday let before.

I simply had an idea, a property, a lot of determination — and no idea quite how much I was about to learn.

I remember being up the ladders stripping wallpaper and painting the walls. Nine months of making a house a home, hands-on from start to finish. Expecting my second child, and a first guest to welcome in March 2024. This is Ty Ray Penmaes — and this is our story.

Could you run
a holiday let?

I had never done it before. This is what I wish someone had told me. The decisions, the day-to-day work, and the things that don’t make it into the photographs.

A note from Nami

A little place
with a story.

Ty Ray Penmaes has been a very personal project for me. I often call it my “nine-month project” because the journey from start to finish coincided with my pregnancy with my second child.

From stripping wallpaper to painting the walls, every stage has a memory attached to it.

Made with care, and a story behind every corner.

With love, Nami
