Your information.
Ty Ray Penmaes is personally run by Nami. When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, message and, where supplied, stay dates and guest numbers. We use these to respond and take steps towards a booking you request.
Enquiries are held securely in our website backend and are accessible only to authorised administrators. They are not published or sold. A hashed identifier is used to help prevent repeated spam submissions.
Guest book entries.
If you share a memory, we collect your first name, email address, the month you stayed, your words and any photos or videos you upload. Uploads are stored privately and seen only by Nami until she approves them. Only entries where you gave permission are published, showing your first name, words and media — never your email. We keep entries while they are displayed, and delete unpublished entries and their files when no longer needed. Ask us any time to remove yours. See the guest book terms.
Essential storage only.
This website does not intentionally load advertising or analytics cookies. Owner sign-in uses essential browser storage to maintain a secure session. No optional tracking is enabled, so no optional-cookie consent banner is required at present.
Images are delivered by a media provider and fonts by Google Fonts. These services receive connection information such as your IP address. External links have their own privacy policies.
Your rights.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. Contact eightpenmaesrhayader@gmail.com. You can also raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Bookings & payments.
An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Availability, total price, payment arrangements and cancellation terms must be agreed with Nami. Online card payments are not currently enabled; never send card details through the enquiry form.
Last updated: 9 October 2026. Retention periods and any future payment or analytics providers must be reviewed before those services are introduced.
